Indeed! Considering we are a million miles from anywhere else breeding-wise, we have AHS restrictions to worry about, a not-very-strong currency, and no shuttle stallions. And with this we have to take on high class fields which include about a gadzillion dollars worth of Maktoum bluebloods.

We are doing just fine, considering.(tu)

Wonder if the track will run similar on Worl cup night. The horses seemed to have to be in the lead or close to the front. To far back and they were not catching the front runners last night.

Dubai is losing it`s lustre imo,too many mediocre races over too long a time..

Top ten in the betting for the WC have not even raced in Dubai yet this season..

ps Bold Silvano managed to get his tongue over his bit yesterday,so hopefully there is a little more to come.

Hibs, the whole carnival peaks at world cup night and the pattern I mentioned has developed more and more............many prep runs by horses that have already qualified for their target races but there is good value to be had with horses that are running to qualify............be with them in the lead up races and the class on the big night!

Would have to agree with Muhti, just can't believe the money on offer and it still remains an oppertunity for reasonable horses to collect BIG money
