Europe is still the proving ground of champions, at any rate on turf. The Arc is a race that everyone wants to win, as I've said before the Japanese have been trying for years and are almost desperate to get their first Arc win. Personally, I feel the Arc is a race dominated by 3yos and the occasional 4yo.

'd like to see Igugu take her chance there, but at the risk of being shot down in flames I don't think she'd have a hope of winning. I don't think some of you guys understand how strong the top European races really are, but there are certainly good races there in which she can be very competitive. The Arc, though, is a pipedream in my humble opinion.

We are lucky we saw her win here over the last year. With the draconian AHS laws in place she had to stay, what a waste! Now it's her time to be seen on the world stage.Nothing in this country comes close to winning a big race overseas. The owner doesn't need the stake money,he wants the name on the trophy!Best of luck to her and may she do SA proud......I think she handed Jackson The July on a platter.....

Winning in Dubai is big money but has little credit attached but winning the ARC is a different league

Go Igugu Go

It's for 3 year olds and upward, not sure if geldings excluded, would not think so?

It's been won by some of the greatest horses it's on the first Sunday in October after the triple crown in the UK
