I feel for those who were on Genuine Leather - but imo this is what racing is all about - the small guy with his 70k filly comes and blows away the blue bloods of van Zyl and de Kock - and Genuine Leather herself could not have been too pricey either

when your horse won wasnt it also outsider, I agree that is wat dreams are made off, I wonder if people realize the enormity (wow what a word) of this hosre'e win.
Prob never saw grass before, watched replay it was very green, it can only improve from this win, this was not a bad field if you looked at hte form 3 horses who had already won 2 races each etc.
