I owned shares in a Jungle Rock horse called Lightfootlad(grey) - He made his debut as a 4-year-old against a Saltzmann bomb- Essfivebeaches(i think he was a grey) - My homebred won 14-1 with Chantal Moys - Ess was at a stage entered in the July -

Wow, nobody has mentioned the most famous of horses owned (or part owned I should say) by Salzman.....Tommy baby!!!
Also when he moved his horses away from Alexander he had those two horses enterred at Kenilworth, I think the one they punted was called Milennium Diamond?? The other one opened up odds on and the one they punted at 20's I think. The 20/1 shot started odds on and shat in.......
It was then I relized how sick this game could be....
He also owned that great filly Mosszao. She won the Gold Bowl if I remember correctly. In partnership with Ratner.
Never liked the guy much.....we owned a few in partnership with him.

Tommy mentioned F.Ratner.I remember the F.Ratner and S.Shub partnership and they raced some nice horses in the Cape,
trainer was Nicholas? Jockey Eric Fordred rode for the stable. Good horse was IZINDABA by Politician, won several races.
