Way back in 1976 I started study horse racing. It all began with the July. I have met many punters and even a Jockey. This jockey told me, “ Horse racing is the sport of Kings and C - - ts. The truth is, we are not Kings. But what we can do is to collect the small portion left over from the Kings.
I have won and lost many July’s and after 36 years of playing horses I should by know be an expert but I am not. I hope that all of you have the right horse this year but look out for my selection. At this stage I am only waiting for the final field. Who knows, maybe is BELA a BIELIE VAN N” BOKLAM.!!!

I took 9/2 a place on Pomodoro last week must have a good chance to fill the placings IMO.

Can anyone please let me know what weight Pierre Jordaan carried last year and off what rating? I am maintaining this is a HUGE runner this year.

Is PJ not out at the weights with English Garden based on last years July?

yes he is saksy

PJ gave English Garden 3kg's last year and will give him 3,5kg's this year so is 0,5kg's worse off. However English Garden was a 3 year old year and received a 2kg allowance so if he has imploved with age he would effectively be 2,5kg's better off. Difficult to read into a race a year ago though.

Vettle not accepted for Derby ..... so only one other race he can go for now the JULY ..
