I know the July field appears to be thin...but are the handicappers telling us that Jackson is one of the best 3 year olds ever???

We all know there's still a race to be run and anything can happen depending on the draw, pace, luck in running, jockey and well being of the horses!
I'm sure we have all seen enough racing certainties get rolled over the years to know that Jackson can obviously get beat. However if the ratings are to be believed Jackson is the best handicapped horse as well as being, in my opinion, the best horse in the race by a street.
Ilha Bela may indeed be underated off 104 but she still has to prove this on the track. So backers of her are taking a leap of faith, the question I ask is this leap justified in her price. I say no but for all those who are on her at 16-1 or better good luck to you all.
I'm the type of punter who often goes against the favourite but it's hard to be bullish about anything else except Jackson, who looks like a champion. For those who are looking for outsiders maybe English Garden, Chesalon and Tribal Dance (if he makes the final field) can run well.
Seems that the July is getting hyped up and we still got more than 3 weeks to go!

Shrek, the above makes sense. It would be good to hear other clanners discuss why they feel their fancy will win the July, or is it truely over bar the shouting for those in the Jackson camp?

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Bayern this is racing nothing is ever a certainty but I feel Jackson has the race to lose. I agree with Mr Hawaii in that I also feel the 3 year old fillies are very weak this year as their times in every race indicates. I believe the main dangers to Jackson will be Pierre Jordaan, English Garden, Pomodoro and Vettel (If choosing the July over the Derby).

Shrek, point taken and i appreciate and respect your view. Really look forward to reading other peoples views, after all, racing is about opinions.
