Getting around Betfair ban

Just wondering if anyone has been able to do this

1. Get a physical adress (rental, electricity statement etc) out of the country (Lesotho, Namibia, Swaziland, Botswana etc)
2. Come back to South Africa
3. Use VPN to access Betfair to hide the fact that you are now in South Africa

Surely this should do it or will it be a problem when Betfair does the payment to you because that will be the only stage they can pickout your bank account is in SA which in itself should not be an issue since I can have an account in SA an reside in Lesotho for example

So what do you think

Okay in short I am basically asking if there is any South African who has managed to get around the Betfair restriction and how did they do it. Local bookmakers are absolute cr ap with deplorable websites that are conducive to nothing but losing your money. Betfair on the other hand is a thing of beauty especially if you are using your own software to place bets.

What would be interesting to know is the status of outstanding licence applications, including Betfair....................there must be some who have some idea as they were aware of the local shutdown in advance!

Betfair will not pay any excess amount (i.e more than you deposited) into your ewallet (moneybookers). Any excess has to be withdrawn via a bank transfer. So if you are a profitable punter the MB option is out

I am certainly not interested in Betfair being a back only service in SA. The lay option is my only interest nothing like laying low and watching those odds shoot up. That said if they do get a licence I woul hope they have a much more user friendly interface on their website than what is currently available
