Dear Mr Safi,
I am a race horse owner from Mauritius and have bough most of my horses after checking their forms with Formgrids which is by far the best tool available.
I have recently purchased another horse that is actually in training in SA and due to run his 3rd race in Kwazulu Natal soon. I feel like i have lost touch/contact now as i was on your site everyday. Not at all encouraging for people who want to invest in horses and stay in touch with your country as there is nothing else like Formgrids available out there.
Looking forward to see FORMGRIDS back on line soon.
Kind regards,
AR

Mr Safi,
I wanted to send you a letter in support that you may feel free to publish or forward to the racing authority.
As a resident of the United Kingdom, I can say in all certainty that if it was not for the presentation of information that Formgrids provides, I would never wager on South African racing.
Other sources of information for S.A. Racing do not offer enough information to make a proper decision to bet. They simply offer form without putting it in "perspective".
The South African Racing Authorities need to step out of their own borders and see that without proper information being offered to the world through the internet, South African Racing will be faceless.
As of yesterday, I bet on U.K., Australian, U.S. and South African racing.
However, as I respect your decision, as of today, I will not be placing any bets until such time I can properly assess the fields in the manner that Formgrids provide and through their licensing agreements, the South African Racing Authorities will not profit from my involvement in racing.
Sincerely,
Duncan MacTavish

Good day Mr Safi
Sorry to hear that formgrids will not be continuing in South Africa.
As a tipster I used your sight daily and will be lost without it.
In an attempt to keep it going, would it be possible for you to tell me what sort of sponsorship is required or is there a potential of striking a
deal with one of my investor clients
I await your reply

Dave,
Very sorry to hear you have to discontinue SA Info.
I shall also not participate in SA racing again until the playing field is level.
Your site saves me so much time and effort.
It is sad that players like Computaform uses their leverage to crowd out other participants.
Good luck for the future.
Regards

Shit, look how many people you have let down David. Why not offer a subscription? I will pay. When last I looked Sportingpost, ARO and Winningform were not funded by Phumelela. Your actions are disgusting.

There are posters on ABC who shout at the top of their lungs that Formgrids cannot expect help from P as it is a private company, there are others who seek handouts before him, but in reverse I guess nobody can complain when the private owner of his provate website decides to close his private business down in SA?
Let David do what he must, he is at least trying to stand up to what Phumelela have become, nobody else is, as far as I can tell.

So who is the winner Tommy ? Luckily I keep my old Computaform photo's so I will be able to carry on but at a much slower pace. Hopefully Phumelela pay the ransom fee and Formgrids comes back,

Hopefully the betterment of racing will be the eventual winner (I know I live in dream-land). It seems to me as if David is trying to get P to play their part in this fiasco but they refuse.
On a different note, how many times have we mentioned revolt on this site or a punters union or, or, or......we still stuck at square 1. Let the man do what he must do, its his site, he can do whatever he pleases, right or wrong.
I would imagine a subscription is a good way to go but he must have his reasons for not wanting to go that way.
Let's just give him some time and let the "main manne (boys)" figure this thing out.
Peace
