Four of the contenders run today @ York.

I was very impressed the way Thought Worthy won 2 runs ago beating Noble Mission.
TW- choice in todays race.

dont often get selections right here.

Also big ups to Shaheen and Tellytrack for staying with footage after Frankels win.
Ive not yet seen a winning presentation, yet so much racing beamed from the UK.

As Camelot prepares for his date with destiny, Aidan O’Brien says the public focus on Frankel suits him just fine.

O’Brien was speaking yesterday when he received an honorary degree from the University College of Cork for his services to sport.

O’Brien's comments after the Irish Derby ‘‘Funnily enough he came out of the Irish Derby very well,’’ he says. ‘‘He only raced for two furlongs. Joseph nursed him until the two marker and when he asked him to quicken he jinked a little bit — I suppose he was surprised how soft the ground was — but the minute he got it together it was over really. He’s had a good break since then so hopefully [it will be okay].’’

I have no doubt that Camelot will win the St Leger with ease, and to quote Lester Piggott " he will be to fast for his rivals and will sprint away over the last couple of furlongs" he was always concerned that Nijinsky might not stay the distance but with Camelot no concerns.

Maybe this should be under the Quiz?

How many horses in history have won the triple crown and who was the first?
