Sad even had an SMS from one of our biggest bookies questioning why a days business can be lost like this is unbelievable. And they talk of suing???. Owners trainers jocks ( just trying to get extra rides ) and public and punters are left absolutely gobsmacked by a press release by P Davis . I know he looked after a race course in the UK not so long ago . I wonder how this would have gone down there. But then again we here now and the fat cats will get away with anything without anybody being held accountable. You go guys you bunch of clowns.

I think we need to be carefull referring to P as a Circus and that Clowns are running it. We might get sued because they are at least trained and do deliver what is expected of them, unlike what is happening at P.

The problem is that now a days in RSA it is all talk and no action. If a BUSINESS is reliant on a simple item such as a Bus then the PROFESSIONALS that run the show MUST have contingency plans in place. S--t happens but let me tell you that at the Company that I work for when it hits the fan everyone gets involved immediately. From the CE down and things are MANAGED to minimise the impact on our Business, even if there is a loss incurred which is dealt with later. We give a 24/7/365 service and not only a Bus every second Monday which is IMVHO very elementary to institute.

If Racing is a BUSINESS this RISK would have identified and CONTINGENCIES should have been identified and implemented.

Clanners IMO we will just have to accept ASAFU and continue with P and their inadequencies.

Amazing how many people feel robbed due to a Flamingo park meeting not taking place given the remarks previous regarding what a lottery the center is...

Fully agree Titch, I do not even look at a Kimberly card, but it is the principals of the scenario that bothers me, what next I ask myself.

Soodum I do not disagree but to me it is about the BUSINESS PRINCIPALS, after all is P not a business. So if it is just bashing P so be it as this is not the first and IMO nor will it be their last disaster, and not to speak of their SUPERIOR attitude which leaves much to be desired.
