I see there is a fair bit of rain forecast tonight and tomorrow, assuming insufficient to stop the meeting but enough to make the going soft? Most rain seems forecast for late tonight and in the morning between 8 and 11, just something to MAYBE take into account for anyone studying tonight.

R1 DARWIN CUP & RUN WEST - I am concerned about Brandon on a short priced favourite and Darwin Cup is knocking on the door
R2 REAR ADMIRAL & MOUNTAIN THUNDER - Mountain Thunder has some pretty decent form and J Mariba up. Will also include my runner, FIRE UP in my Trifectas & Quartets
I also fancy a double with Flying Machine and Big Cat Diary - hope to make up after disappointing last run when ran 8th behind Barbosa

Guys For me Dylan Promise worth a bet, according to trainer top run expected.. Horse doing well and after dis run off to Jhb for the Ready to Run Race.

Neven why are you concerned ? he is a very good rider and if the horse is good enough will win so dont start blaming the jockey Brandon before the race has even been run not really fair imo

The breeding suggests that your horse needs further so do not be disappointed.
6 lengths behind the winner should be regarded as a decent run. Anything better is a bonus.
