If weather is unpredictable(which it is) why have a plan that relies on it's predictability?
Sorry if that seems simplistic!

I think using a 25 year average and working around that is acceptable. No one could predict a three and a half times increase in rain.

Can you imagine when we get the all weather there wil be nothing(hopefully) to complain about. Clwd was badly handled I agree and that was a problen not caused by excessive rain as this was.

I dont know why i comment on the bleeding obvious it is clear that the GC still continue to operate the same, bad planning, bull excuses and countless delays coupled with money wasting.
Craig, i am not commenting here because i have a penchant for bitching about GC but in future i will not comment about Gold Circus. I cannot understand how an organisation on one hand is trying to entice people into horse racing & on the other hand treats people involved in horse racing, owners & punters, like mushrooms. I too am tired and continue to decrease my ownership in horses because i would rather piss into the wind.

Be careful pissing into the wind because all that happens is you get piss on yourself!
GC called it early and added in extra meetings and I cannot see the problem. My last comment on this as well.

Tiger when you discuss whiskey or sport or anything in fact that does not pertain to GC your input is both informative and well put but for you to say that you do not have a penchant for bitching about GC could not be further from the truth..it is glaringly obvious that you have an axe to grind with them and you have no hesitation in voicing your dissatisfaction at every opportunity that presents itself.. which of course you are entitled to do..i was however quite shocked that you seem oblivious of this??:S

Titch and Craig.....Tiger has the right to bitch as a billion rand industry racing in general, is managed pretty poorly.....just imagine if us detractors had this technoligy to voice our concerns at the time of pre-Gosforth Park/Newmarket debacles ......the decision makers in that time would have been more conciderate and may have handled matters with more caution and with a lot more precission......I'm sure that GC is now cognisant of these forums and thus are wary of making mistakes that will impact the long term......I too are at arms length from the industry and as a potential influencer in advising potential owners and investors in bloodstock of the pitfalls and perils of involvement in horse racing.....should they then decide to get in or stay involved they will have little recourse that they were conned into an industry where they will be on an endless roller coaster ride.....:

No Oscar....according to smooth talking Hawkins on Laff's show.....this new tunnel will also service the infield taking into account a distance for the proposed polytrack.....but what we hear now and what happens in the future may not be what was said in the 1st place
.....I'm already looking for breeds of horses with short legs and very close coupled to handle the proposed inside bend.....
