the weakness of the claims is a joke too especially unraced horses wtf to win 10 000 between 5 bookmakers is an absolute joke - how do these people call themselves bookmakers

@rob faux:
'
Could well be that Bush...................either way the pricing /deductions etc needs a good look by the authorities'
Agree!
There's been a lot of flack about the arrogance/high-handdedness/etc about the operators with calls for an investigation (re: CC & COE).
What about regulating the bookies?
I suggest that we rather be with the devil (if we still want to punt!), and play our bets on the tote/TAB only until we have transparency. For that matter, even support the 'bucket shops'!
I for one am going to suspend my betting with my bookie until this is resolved by the bookmaking associations nationally. I did find the info helpful like many others.
I am putting my money where my mouth is; any other takers?
PS:
Why not form a Punters' Association now..... the timing seems opportune?
Any suggestions?

i would like to add my voice to this by saying the following:
the fact that we as punters who "supported the site" by visits , is the only reason that allowed bookies to get advertisers onto to their site. we created the visits to the site which enabled them to market it and make money. Then i read on one of the post a response from them is that the service or site is exclusively for bookmakers!
secondly that site showed great transparency in the sport we all love , but now looks like the powers that be feels thats no longer need>
i also agree we need to have some kind of punter respresentation to take our concerns serioulsy and to the relevant authorities so we ( the people who sustains this game) the PUNTER can be heard.
lastly i think some other company/bookmaker/punter someone please come up with a site similar for us punters to visit and get all the information we need...
One thins is for if they (bookies) do relaunch i will not be visiting the site ...
just my thoughs !!!

The best alternative is probably :Topodds.com ..........shows the comparisons between various sites, in one place, and with time you will establish which bookies prices reflect the "ruling price"
