Watched the Princess doing the presentation after Festival of Fire won and i was really happy to see that she afforded the same gesture of greeting to all the connections including the groom.I have never ever seen any other female do this for the groom and this can be a lesson well learned.Thank you Princess - you made my day.

I posted this in 2008

Have mentioned before, just watched another presentation in the Cape and everyone except the groom, gets a nice hug and kiss?
But he did get an envelope, maybe it was "sealed with a kiss"

Times they are a changing (not) !

You might be missing the point I would not expect any men to kiss after a winner, a hand shake and hug would be normal.

The point of this thread is that the groom in UK and States would receive a different greeting to our lang arm beer mug with a cheque and that might be difficult for certain individuals to comprehend due to a narrow mined upbringing B)
