Thieving Phumelela telephone service....(td)

How many times have you phoned and got the wrong race is being bradcasted, race cut off half way through or some stupid woman giggling in the background... I'm paying money to listen to these races but do they give a sh!T!!!!

let me not be negative but i'm still waiting for them to phone me back after I complained about this about 6 years ago

let me not be negative but i'm still waiting for them to phone me back after I complained about this about 6 years ago

That is not the point, if you offer a service surely you make sure it works 100% all the time, if only there was competition to this Phumelela, how i wish they would fall from there pedestal, if only there was competition ...X(

GB, services levels are non existent in SA because no one is held accountable. Went into a bookie about two weeks ago to take a bet. I say to the clerk, "can i have a bet". He is on his Blackberry stuffing around with an sms, the thing that pissed me off, he didn,t as much as look at me, just continued with the sms. Asked a second time, continued to ignore me - i just walked out.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Have to agree with you, a lot of these clerks etc. are underpaid so they don't give a s.....t and if you complain higher up to the management, they throw you up as the guilty party b'cos management wants to keep peanut-paid monkeys.

I need to clarify something here, the clerk in question was not a Black/African person. I think Mikesack is just using an English saying, "pay peanuts and you get monkeys". I truely don't believe it's intended to be a racial slur in the context of his response. For what it's worth, i am a non white South African, i think you reading Mike's comment out of context. Bottom line, the thread is about bad service delivery, bad service is bad service, i have no qualms about what colour the person is, that is dishing out this bad service. As consumers we just take it on the chin and walk away. Is it not time we stood up for what is right, after all, i just wanted to take a bet.
