Why did he scale down his operation and move to KZN.
Not so long ago , he was looking for boxes in Sydney.
Saw him last week, and god has he lost a lot of weight IMO.
Is this because of health reasons ?

Charles very well! Top Top trainer - scaled down because he did not want all the pressure he had in JHB.

Agreed Shikar. The days where Anton used to get aboard anything Charlie Laird trained, you could put the money down and stand in the queue. The last time I saw him, he looked very thin as well. Shame, really wish he comes well.

Still a fan @ Flash, when he had a Jooste horse with Marcus onboard it had to be included into all bets... period!

MDK has his loyal owners, Slacks / Sheik etc...

As Tarry has Van Neikerks...

when these pairs come out you have to consider the horse in all bets.

Laird was the only other trainer to really give MDK a run for his money for leading trainer, so he cant be all that bad

Charles i a very good trainer in general but especially with having horses ready to win 1st time out. Very few if any better than him at that.
