that is the only way something can be done - how much extra revenue did Shaw extract from punters? Teletrack is the worst program on DSTV with too many of those involved having no idea of what the public need - i watched the news on Soweto TV(a much younger production) and it was way better - Does the "BORED" not watch their flagship? Do they not watch other sports and NEWS channels and realize how unprofessional they are and try to improve?

When Shane left the studio the other day,it was after he had phoned home and got his wife to bring his own laptop into work so he could inform the public of price changes etc.

The straw that broke the camels back was a tech head taking 45 minutes to bring him a 2 way plug to plug the thing in.. lol

ps he had planned to come back to work

Whatever the outcome I wish Shaheen all the best for 2013 either at tellytrack or in a new position, he has passion and knows the need of the punters .

Is this a fact.............if it is I will tell you that Rutherfords contention that I am a "prolific detractor" is mild ...............I believe that it is time for ABC to start doing something meaningful..........I believe that a petition for the sacking of Rutherford and the offer of his Job to Shaw should be sent to Sporting Post AND delivered to Riaan Du Plessis's office..................lets get off our arses and not just be piss and wind.

Who has the technical know how to set up the petition?

Any sensible person would side with the presenters on this one. How can they present when the studio is a boiling room? When there is no internet connectivity? When they have to use their own resources, or borrow? You have an organisation expecting output when they don't provide minimum input 'to be able to perform'?
If the lack of these resources posed a threat to one's health or integrity (in other words, having to lie to patrons on tv about what is really happening in the clown house, show pretence, use dry/ and wry humour etc); why would you want to continue?

Surely TT is insensitive and uncaring? What constraints stop fixing an aircon? Resources, lack of will or apathy?

Shaheen never lets the punter go to war without a gun. Fully prepared whenever he presents, he always knows where to next and why without having to be prompted by the producer. Some say he never stops speaking, imo those can only be the viewers who have all the information they require at their disposal, remember that the majority are sitting in a tote with only a tab sheet (if they're lucky) and without internet access. These are the people he is reaching out to, trying his utmost at all times in having "their back".

Are Tellytrack even aware of the impact he makes? Here is a man who is THE BEST at what he does, look after him ffs

Here's an example of the incompetence and nonsense of TT: Under Starters Orders supposed to start at 08:30 as is advertised on the DSTV menu. Why did they start it earlier if I que in at 08:30 to watch and see race 7 being spoken about? And, to top it all of: we now have to listen to this In The Gig/ Ozzie bullshit? Them showcasing how progressive their industry is; whilst shamefully hiding the lunacy locally.

Please TT, stick with the programme. Deliver what you say will, on time.

Like my polite request is gonna make any difference? 8-)

......you guys are farting agaist thunder.....I will be the 1st to sign on the dotted line....but it will get no where....Ken is connected to the big P brass and nothing that joe public and any one else can do about it.....trying to bring about a palace coup will only get the big wigs to carry on pissing it away....there is no way they promote Chain above the Ozzie for starters he was brought up from PE to keep an eye on the studio presenters and report to the kiwi.....Nico is now fit and well and also has a roll to play....and Niel Andrews has an impeccable broadcasting CV and can call on key production personel to sort out technical issues and can be groomed for that management position as he is a people person....but the powers that be.... will always be.....:S
