I have defended many people accused of murder, rape and abuse against women and kids. If I wanted to I would have said murderers, rapists and molesters, but they are presumed innocent until found guilty
Our law makes it easy to defend criminals. I also want to see Oscar in jail. In fsact he should hang
But he is the only witness. He can say whatever he wants. No matter what, if the court thinks what he says is reasonably possibly true, not that the court believes him, he will walk. That is the law of the land
One of the reasons I quit law after 18 years in private practise.
The law is AN ASS

He said in his affidavit he didn't have them on when he shot through the door but then he walked downstairs with the deceased in his arms... Nothing seems to add up??

I would imagine diminished responsibility a more likely tactic ... blame the substance abuse and provocation ....

He has a version of the facts and unless he makes a 90 degree turn he will have to stick to it(no talk of insanity or mention made of any fighting with his victim which could have made him act insanely ) - What I cannot fathom is a person that claims to be proficient with a weapon fires no warning shots? He is a super athlete that functions under pressure but now just randomly starts shooting into a toilet door because he heard a noise? What was he shooting at in the Toilet?

shame on you, haupie. i can understand your feelings, but what you write is a shame for a person who worked for the law.
if they find, that it is reasonable possible what he says, than of course he should be free.
i see his face, looks like the face of armstrong, the same kind of lyer for me. but nevertheless it is something great in civilisation, that we are not judging by feelings, but by proovable reasons. there are a lot of open questions and i don't think he can answer all these questions. but he has the right to give an answer first.
if you did not right in your job, why did u do it then? bad style.
