i know this issue has come up before but its really getting pathetic when gutless faceless people have a go on here at me or whoever and hide behind their pseudenoym...i can take plenty abuse but have balls to post who you are ..bunch of yellow bellies

Our most popular post ever on ABC has been "who are you" but the heading of this post was exactly the reason given by Louis G, Greg Ennion and Joe Soma for not posting, this was not a survey they just happened to be the only 3 people at the table at the time

So who are the posters that give us the bad image?
Name them and if they don't come clean I have no problem in banning them, I am also under the impression that many use the excuse as a smoke screen rather than being accountable ?

I could be wrong but it's only my opinion.

I personally believe that if you are going to have an opinion that is seen/read by other people, be it good or bad it should have your proper name. I think this would cut out many of the derogatory comments that we see in some posts. If you are going to have an opinion then have the balls to put your name to it.

Agree with all . Even though I'm Bloodshot I'm pretty sure everyone knows who i,am but maybe Dave should just change the rules and make everyone just post under their real names then we have no problem!

I would love to be transparent, a couple of people know who I am, and would understand why- I feel like the identity of my other half would hinder my ability to have a respected opinion on this site, so I would prefer an anonymous approach.

If I was GC or Phumelela I would take no notice of faceless people attacking me but would take notice if they are prepared to put their names to their posts and have a balanced view on things. If all the feedback is only negative and I was never complimented on things when they are right or we are trying, I would not take to much notice of the site or negative comments.

Concensus! However, when one operates a business (as that's what Phumelela is), then, one cannot operate blind to views, opinions and complaints, no matter where they emanate.

Consider PnP refusing to entertain customers who complain about their service because of some constraint / dissatisfaction by regarding such a sector as dispensable?

That is a major problem in our country; despite an enviable Constitution and a country blessed with variety..... we do not communicate with one another except for basic needs / interaction.

We sell kosher and halaal foods; yet, we know so little about Jews and Muslims. We refer to sangomas; yet, what is our idea of African traditional religions? .....etc.

Afrikaners love their biltong and braai; why?

Craig have you ever called the Phumelela helpline? There are many here that have to complain about issues and do you think they respond? Companies that ignore customers suffer and that is the approach of the operators - Have you ever been party to Market Research at a tote(they get it for free on ABC and still don't use it!!!)?I have never and the notion that an anonymous complaint should be ignored is archaic - Anyone in this game knows that you have to watch what you say or you will incur the wrath of the powers ... Newspapers all over the world have been using nome de plume letters for decades. I have no problem telling anyone who I am but I think it is all too convenient to ignore a complaint if it appears on a website and emanates for an anonymous user.
