Instead of trying to switch bases and divert attention ,why dont you ae least come out with a statement appologizing for the problems caused by the operator and staff at Clairwood Park.

1.Starter starters incompitent
2.Vet s love the horrses to race even after they might have injured themselves,how many horses come back and win after bolting the course and losing shoes etc.They look at them stretch them out and say fit to race ,who knows if anything amiss maybe the vets think they can talk to the horses.
3.Stipes made bad decisions of the rule book.Are they really qualified to be stipes.
4.If favourite was withdrawn it would have cost the operators the takout of the win and exotic pools.,tri swinger quartet etc,so i assume GC would rather horse declared runner.

GC SHOULD APPOLOGIZE TO ALL PEOPLE ONERS AND PUNTERS WHO THEY MISTREATED LAST SATURDAY..


Who cares what Derek said on TV that is nothing compared to GC error on Saturday

1) Starter employed by NHRA not GC.Enquiry this morning.
2)Vets employed by NHRA not GC. Do you know more than the vets about horses? This horse should probably have come
out but she still ran a good race after the problems so could not have been too injured.
3)Stipes played by the rules in front of them. Also employed by NHRA not GC.
4) Only the Stipes or Vet can scratch the horse or decide to leave it in. By the way they are employed by the NHRA and not GC!

It was not GC/Phumelela's fault but as a gesture of goodwill they have started the Kings Cup win pool with R120000 which they did not have to do. Such bad people these operators!:S

Tell me Craig if you go into a Retail outlet, lets say DionWired in this case and go to the Vodacom counter and you get mistreated by the sale person, shitty service etc do you think the management of DionWired would turn around and tell you it is not there problem speak to Vodacom??

GB, GC has absolutely no juristiction over the NHRA. They run racedays, finish and klaar. GC has aproblem with the stalls I admit and that must be sorted out. I am with you there.

100% - Again I ask was the NHRA also responsible for the "dog running " - without the starter incident that is a seriously dangerous incident which seems to be swept away due to the betting side of the start. If Game supplies a cellphone range that is faulty should you only blame the supplier and not Game who should take just as much resposibility for buying that range. If the dog had caused a horse to go dilly and hurt itself or one of the Jockeys or patrons would that be okay?

Then why the media releases from GC, surely if this all falls under the NHRA then they should of mediated press releases... :S

That reminds me I must speak to GC about birds on the track in front of the horse's during a race. I am sure the birds are put there deliberately by GC to harm the jockeys/horses during a race! Another GC plot to shoot themselves in the foot. As said before the dog got through after going through a hole in the fence made by truckers. Regretable but it happened and very glad the dog was behind the horses.

Mr H I dont let people talk Sh!t. If they are wrong they are wrong.Also if they are right they are right but in this case to blame GC for everything is wrong. GB they had to say something as so many people wrongly thought it was their fault.

Craig, GC being right or wrong is not the issue now, a small gesture to your so called patrons (the punters) may of gone a long way to recouping the ill feelings that punters now have toward what took place. 99.99999% of punters see this as a GC problem, not a NHRA problem.

Sometimes you have to take those little knocks even if you are right, i'm telling you now this will drive punters away from horseracing, they have a opportunity to turn this incident around into there favour but i doubt they will see it that way.

You right on one thing, GC are shooting themselves in the foot...

Airports are.........when birds cause problems for planes they don't leave the solution to God..........and to suggest that the dog problem was the truckers fault is beyond belief.
Is everything in Natal racing circles run on a "it's not my fault" basis...........unlucky perhaps?
