I give Duchess Trenton a superb chance in that race - Not much between her and NEON TIGER and she looks like a filly that is improving with racing 28/10 is on for me and the 37/100 a 4 place is my Bank Bet of the day.

Winning Form & Magic Tips Best Bets - Vaal

Each time I try and put an exotic together it just comes to far too much. There are of course no stand out bets on this card...however there is only one bet that I will be taking and that comes up in the 9th race: True Imperium. This horse has been running on very strongly over 1600/1800 when being dropped out, last time out from a wide draw it was ridden all wrong, racing wide and trying to race handy. Today I think the draw will suit, as the appie will be forced to drop this horse out and switch it off, the 2000m will be prime, along with the appie claiming 4kgs...on collateral form this horse has many of the dangers beat...previously the short turfles inside track over 1600 has been challenging, but with the longher straight at the vaal today, with the added distance...5/1 looks a great EW bet to me

I know royal cookie is running against the blind school, but not a banker for me honestly. From that draw I cannot have it on the inside track, for me the value lies in Romeo's Fan Club at 10/1. Has been racing handy over further, drop in trip should suit the style of running, and drawn on the inside. Good EW value to me, along with a definite inclusion into the PA along with the fav. Englander, I like your PA I must say, but I will most certainly be adding this in the first Will take the PA for R100 to have an interest in the exotic

We have Rocking In Rhythm running in the 3rd. She is very well, but is a temperamental filly so the blinked have been fitted to keep her mind on racing. She will go down with a lead pony because of her stubborness. That being said her work has been very good she will prefer the 1200 meters and we are expecting a very good run from her, if she behaves. Royal Cookie does look very hard to oppose on her last run but we would be dissapointed if she did not run into the first 3 as the field is very weak bar Royal Cookie.

Wait for scratchings... could bring down the perms a bit

All the best, shrek - must have a place chance in this field; I also agree with Bushy on Romeo's Fan Club - last time over this trip finished just behind Secret Spirit (a winner since) and in front of Cornish Duchess (also a winner since); that said I can't see Royal Cookie missing a place; but maybe a boxed trifecta with RC, RFC and RiR (tu)

For the rest, I am in agreement with most that it looks very open; both Van Loveren and Yorker have obvious chances, but both are beatable imo

In the first race I think the value lies with Critical Mind...this is no race to be backing any fav on the nose at 16/10. But taking 14/1 ew or any other horse that you fancy in this race a place, may be a better way of playing (if you really have to).
