Shrek, I see you are bankering Dontstopmenow in the second leg of the P/A. Striker has a very good 'strike' rate for Chris Erasmus yet takes the ride on Damoonsta for FC De Beer. I am a bit biaised towards that one as I rate De Beer as a trainer (when he gets the stock he gets the performance from them over a long period) .... and Striker has a 100% hit rate for that stable, albeit only 1 from 1... but as Loopy would say..'Da intent is there'.... The price sucks but I have taken eachway Patent ... Rockingin Rhythm / Damoonsta / Carnaby Street.

R1 Souplesse runs from an average draw but does have a decent WR aboard. Madam Arabia does have a third (under this WR) in 4 course visits and has not had the best of draws here since her debut run. Drawn much better in 5 and blinkers are off. For me, probably is the one to beat, though trainer and jockey form could be better. Silva Shama has a WR in hot form but this is 2nd run after rest and she has seemingly not run well before in the same circumstances. Coming from the widest draw and off a rest she finished 7.5 lengths behind Nicety over 1600, Madam A was only beaten 2.75l by the same horse. Quite possible there will be one or more at a big price which surprise but if so, I can't find them! The only other one I looked at was Royal Mumsie who has lost lengths on each of her three starts. If she could break on terms then from a good draw and under a good WR, she could be the upset. Selection... Madam Arabia x Souplesse x Silva Shama

Good call Potluck.... add them to Englanders and the quartet is in the bag .... I am talking from my pocket, but the winner came over and bumped Noble Wind as she was starting her run ... never in the race after that :(

Magi, I saw that too but was not sure which horse it was. Not the first time it has happened in recent weeks, months etc either. Surely, something has to be done about it, to me it is deliberate and dangerous. If you can't get a run then that is simply tough, surely you can't on purpose just shove another horse as blatantly as that to get the opening. Even if you allow the horse to keep the win, to me the jockey should get banned. Matters not if its 300 out or 30 out, it needs to be eradicated imho. Also pocket talk but I would say the same even if not.
