people die when they are shot - If you shoot at any Policeman or Armed person expect to die - He did not die because of poor medical care as the Police would have wanted to keep him alive for Intel purposes obviously

@Mr H:
I am not disputing that.
My question is: since this is a high profile case, would it not have been prudent that all police had standing instructions to take them alive once located...stun guns, tazers, smoke bombs, etc?
No different to our bunch I would say; shoot to kill? Like the Kennedy case.... put them away before they can sing?

No I think you fight fire with fire - You cannot expect Policemen to die just to keep a suspect alive - These are dangerous people and no one should have to put their life at risk to keep a terrorist alive

@DTF:
If they have a grouse (which is secession and independence from Russia), why cause havoc in the US.... or another country?
There are a myriad forms of Islam, just as much as there are thousands of Christian and other sects.
Just as Bush used Christian archetypes (axis of Evil, Devil, Satan), similarly such people latch onto religion to sanctify their causes; in noting that, the wanton violence and wars cannot be condoned.

OressTV: 2nd suspect arrested
US police have captured the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings, following a manhunt that completely locked down the city for an entire day, Press TV reports.
The suspect, 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was found in a boat in the backyard of a house in the city of Watertown on Friday.
According to Boston police chief Ed Davis, a neighbor found Tsarnaev "covered with blood" in a boat and informed the police, who surrounded and arrested him after a fight that continued for almost two hours.
"Over the course of the next hour or so, we exchanged gunfire with the suspect who was inside the boat," Davis said, adding that, "And ultimately, the hostage rescue team of the FBI made an entry into the boat and removed the suspect who was still alive in the boat."
The 19-year-old was then transferred to a hospital for treatment and is said to be in critical condition due to injuries that may have been sustained in an earlier fire fight with the police.
"We assumed that those injuries occurred the evening before. There was an exchange of gunfire at the boat. I don't know if he was struck," Davis said.
Dzhokhar’s 26-year-old brother, Tamerlan, died earlier in hospital after sustaining critical injuries in a car-chase and shootout with the police. The two men were armed with explosives and guns as they battled law enforcement officers in the Boston suburb of Watertown early Friday morning.
Authorities say the suspects hurled explosives from a stolen car as they fled a swarm of police officers who exchanged gunfire.
Two bombings in Boston on April 15 left three people dead and more than 170 injured.
The two brothers are also accused of killing a Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer on campus late Thursday.
Found hiding under a tarpaulin in a boat.
