Wylie Hall is a contender. Backed him twice. He will keep improving! Too early to make predictioons for July!

Great horse! No doubt
However its still early days.
Just saying...
I think Cape Town Noir is definitely champion material and so is yorker however
Yorker has yet to face CTN and BlueRidge Mountain.

Opinions are like arseholes - everyone has one. So here's this arseholes' opinion :
I tuned in to watch Yorker on Saturday largely because I heard James Goodman 'booming' the horse on Winning Ways. Here's my take :
It was a solid, workmanlike win without ever suggesting anything particularly special. Good start for a largely immature horse.
My take was that he did not actually quicken up all that dramatically when asked and that Marcus appeared to be quite busy with the whip. If I knew nothing about the horse ( which is true ) then I would surmise that he actually looked more like a Gold Cup horse than a July or Met horse.
My first concern for those already planning to bankrupt themselves in the July is that, at this stage, he looks like a horse unlikely to be suited to Greyville; where quickening up RAPIDLY from just off the pace might not be his forte. He would appear to be a long striding, galloping type who will ( unless he races at Clairwood and is happy on an anti clockwise course ) not enjoy racing in the world capital of the MR 70 horse.
I would recommend that the 'Bring On Frankel' brigade, who tend to appear on every occasion that an above average South African horse peers over the battlements, may once again be a little premature with their praise.

I'm a cricketing fan so will be in yorkers camp... (lame excuse I know - but still)
Sure CTN and Yorker will meet on more than one occasion.. so will be interesting to see how things pan out...
Both will win many more races I'm sure...
