Hi quik question guys.
Yorkers form is not all the inspiring,imo..
Ran 5th on debut, when backed to a pulp..won next time of asking..
Then ran in a progress plate, placed 3rd behind Gitiano and FanMrFox receiving 2.5kgs?neither of these two horse have set the world alight.
Next run whacks a mediocre field at Vaal then wins on satday, but his form is not July material. People ranting about COTT not having inspiring form, but her form is well better than his imo

He took on horses with merit ratings of between 110 and 98 at level weights and he is not a good advert ...:S De Kock the maestro has done it before and will continue to do it...

Len I asked this on another thread, will he go to a 110 MR with this run meaning he will be giving weight to the other 3 year olds like King of Pain?

Shrek i make it at least a mr of 105(on a line through gitiano and no worries , these two finished together of mr's of 98 and 97 respectively, they are pretty consistent therefore probably reproduced their ratings) for Vercigentorix or a max of 110 (strictly on a line through CTN)

Rob what do make Vercigentorix merit rating ?

a few questions have to be answered first who will the line horse or horses be and did ctn run to his rating...corredor who ran 3rd had the lowest rating in the race and was 2.3l behind the first 2 and he was beaten a lot easier in his previous run and he recieved weight from ctn...the 4th horse gitiano had the 2nd highest rating in the race and he more or less ran to his rating...my personal opinion is ctn ran below his rating more or less to a 104 and the winner will go abt a 103 and the corredor a 96 ...only my opinion and be interesting to see how the official hcapers see it
