David may have trained Sabina Park for her 1st 5 runs in 2003 but there after he started training in Hong Kong for the 2003 season. Ormond took over after David left.......... David trained Super Quality a 4 year old gelding to win the 1997 July and won it the next year with 3yr old colt Classic Flag.....;)

I remember that owner presenting Mr F a winners Trophy(He was on RA duties I think) for a win and the way MR F looked at him was worth 1000 words.

de Broglio had a spat with Ferraris because de Broglio felt that Ferraris "owned" the horse. But subsequent from the move de Broglio had to present a trophy to Ferraris and Ferraris held the trophy high above his head with a big cheer as if to say "up yours". But like all racing spats, I think they are good mates now :)

Uncle Ormonde picked her at the sales for that prat was the 1st horse he owned even opened a website for her..::o...this would mean that she never won a race after she left Ferraris....as she was only a 5 time winner and her last win was in the SA Oaks in 2004.....Bernard Fayd'Herbe rode her that day.....one other jockey got her the 4 other wins.....she won her 1st 3 in a row for him....any takers.... come on....take a guess.....:S

The weights are all different for the July now.

I would have to say that 3yo fillies never really tried to win July years ago.

They can win now, although at the weights it's much MORE difficult now.

That could not have been 1997 or 1998 or CF...maybe it was 1999 or 2000 when CF was placed in the July...Iam sure JL rode him that day...that's the problem with hearsay, the story changes over the years.
