A significant stat (I'm not sure he ever entered any) but neither Syd Laird,the brilliant Millard or Mrs Heming won the July with a 3yr old filly)..................If there was no Mike De Kock ,it would still be regarded as statistically impossible..........lol

(I was still bookmaking when Rolands Song was priced up 3/1 fav for the July........we layed it to 4x our normal liability () )

(Never tried to get clever with MdK though.........his rules are different!)

Might of been his son who won the July with Super Quality but i'm sure he was involved....

St just was one of my favorites , she was a game little filly and also Yasnaya (she ran 2nd in the oaks ).

I remember st just's duels with Rolands song , great fillies !

Sabina Park was trained by David Ferraris

Delpech had choice of rides in the ferraris stable and opted for Classic Flag instead of Super Quality , on the way to the start he told Michael Roberts he chose the wrong one and rest is history...Michael Roberts won on the stable companion Super Quality his first ever July!

Yes,the son won two Julys,spared Michael Roberts,the only trophy that was missing from his top career.

Strange pattern,Horse Chestnut -Tripple Crown and now COTT -Tripple Tiara winners not nominated for the July.
