JC JAckson has never beaten VC on a 1600 and never has VC beaten Jackson on a 1800.....theres horses for courses and I do beleive VClub is unbeatable on a 1600 and the same goes for a fit Jackson on a 1800!!

I agree SuperAce!

Just implying that it could be that Jackson has had this problem for a while and we do not know if his races over 1600m were a true reflection of his ability.
I personally would have enjoyed watching a rematch...

I believe that not any jock could have won on Jackson.....he needed a confident yet soft hands ride and Cormack is just one of those guys that does not get too vigourous.....(tu)

Oh yes for shure, we are lucky to have such grate horses and I have been fortunate enough to stay in the Cape and see them run against each other a number of times.....problem is that both cant win!! !:)-D

brett crawford has trained group 1 winners from 1000m to 3200m and now people on this site are questioning his ability as a trainer ...do me a fcuking favour...

not questioning, just highlighting the fact. Must have some coincidence given the season that Drier is having?

That's an assumption flaunt, would you say the same if Dennis came to the Cape with 2 horses and stabled them with Brett to look after while he travelled back and forth?

I'm not saying DD had nothing to do with it, credit should go to both parties and bear in mind that both of their records, especially when it comes to Graded races, speak for themselves...

I would say the same . My opinion is that drier is a better trainer though

No doubt that the Drier yard had assisted in a positive manner, take nothing away from them.....Crawford spend allot of time in KZN, Drier wasn't around when Jackson won his other 2 GR1's,so its unfair saying that Brett is collecting accolades on behalf of DD...... saying this I think it can only be to an advantage to horse racing when trainers combine!!

Hi Easy

IMO if Jackson did not have his problems he would also have been exported but due to this his advesaries being exported there is not much left for him to beat. Thus from what is left here he is a TOP horse.

Just my opion and I WILL back him untill beaten, hope it does not cost me to much.

Hi Clanners

Some of the posts re: Brett Crawford's training abilty is laughable, the same b--- s--- as with the Paul Lafferty/Joe Soma episode. ffs compare apples with apples. I do not personally know Brett C but I wish that Jackson stays in his care and wins the Met & Dbn July and then he will be a God (again like before last years July) in the eyes of those rubbishing him now.

Go Jackson. From my side I hope he does you well Brett.
