I'm afraid prices for the first very wrong.those that price up ar
e imo devious.majority of money should be on the top two and I cannot see either in first three.this must surely be the oldest trick in the book.maybe dutch a few longshots.should workout.

Why don't you name the horses that you are referring too. They are betting 11/2 bar Darling Moon (which is 16/10), so if you feel another horse in the race is a bigger price than you feel it should be, that's the one to punt - nothing devious about that:S, if anything, you should be happy

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I am referring to darling moon and hakahana and to a lesser extent als bonanza.you seem irritated.did I say something wrong.I cannot feel happy when punters lose.surely prices steer people to and away from selection.if the bookies know that say kings summit has a strong winning chance its in their interest to hide that horse and put up a horse that appears to have winning credentials at the top.but the race will tell.

what is the benchmark stat for favourites winning.there can never be an answer to that so I'm suggesting that that stat is neither here nor there.

If you do your own tissue prices it will throw up some value in your eyes and none in others.
When I have time, like this week I pick a couple of races, normally 8-12 runner fields and not maidens.
Yesterday,I made Kahals Secret a 5/1 shot,12/1 was available so I punted it ew.
