TT at the moment believes in quantity not the quality of the racing product. I know of so many punters/friends that have stopped punting because they cannot see the horses go down/parade ring etc properly. I am sure the turnover on our local meetings would grow by more than the loss by dropping them( Ngong etc) between our races and concrentrating on showing the parade ring/canter past. Show the other races when we dont have a meeting or before or after but when we are racing then concentrate on ours and the next best meeting in UK maybe. Would certainly get my mates(who now hardly watch TT or have a bet) back on board. Interviews of excited owners straight after winning a race is great for everyone to see right there and then. How many people who have not won a race actually bother to watch the re runs? As they say it is a punting channel but I and many others believe that the turnover would increase with more quality racing and less quantity.

Turnover is NOT related to watching canter downs, punters in betting shops have PROVED that

roulette
virtual racing

are as good a betting medium as the Derby.

there are MILLIONS of people like this and thousands of purists. Thats the math.........

100% The punters in the tabs float money from race to race across continents - Most of them don't even care about the canter down - Racing is not dying because of Teletrack but because other gaming options are available. When racing was in its prime most punters listened on the RADIO and a trip to the course was an outing - TAB outlets closed at 12 pm sop there was no watching the canter down!! Racing is dying because of many reasons but not showing the canter down is not one of those reasons(The races they show in that time from Ngong, Uk aus etc all create turnover) That does not mean that the canterdown is not important - It is but the Chum Money does not need it

I would hate to return to a world without TellyTrack.

And I do NOT want to pay more subs.

Tellytrack is super.
