I am surprised the SA and England are the two favorites for the tournament. I wouldn't be surprised if neither of these sides made the semi's.

Sri Lanka put and take they gets me money...

If Gayle goes cheaply, WI crumble beneath him, and he plays 1 good game out of many... having said that, when he does have that 1 good game it is a cracker!!

NZ always get into the semis and Sri Lanka should join them and in the other group its Pakistan and West Indies.

Crazy how Australia, SA and India have fallen away in the 50 over game since the inception of the IPL.

The runs are on the board. pakistan still have to bat... never fear you Doubting Thomases ... plus the guys are rusty, they did not all play IPL.

The Madji our only saving grace in this match has been that all 15 of your squad can play so we can have Robin Petersen and Rory Kleinveld can bat next so 11 resonable batsmen batting. We will miss not having Smith and Kallis in this tournament.

Its only a warm up match but the SA top order are going to have to do something when it counts. Pakistan play on confidence and if they win this match then SA have no chance when they meet again next Monday

I agree about Kallis...posted earlier in this thread that very sentiment. Smith too hot and cold but is a potential matchwinner everytime he goes out. I for one will not miss him

Just cant figure out why our cricketing team have not been as successful as the rugby squad...

I mean our cricketing side is one of the best in the world... but they just seem to "choke" in the games that count...

They are just not good enough Wouter. In 1999 they had the World Cup at their mercy and then Donlad goes and runs himself out in that epic semi against the Aussies. They would have beaten Pakistan if they got into that final and then in 2003 in Durban against Sri Lanka they failed to read the Duckworth Lewis chart correctly and block out what was to be the last over. In the WIndies they went there for a holiday and in the last one in India they were just crap.
