Playing without the likes of Gambhir, Sehwag, Yuvraj, Sachin, Zaheer and RP Singh etc.

Good decision to start bringing in young blood.

India have dealt with loosing plenty of top players superbly well. What worries me is where will Sri Lankan cricket be after Sanga, Dilshan, Jayawardena and Malinga retire in a few years time?

Greg, I hope you took some of that 12/10 on India. I doubt it is still available.

Like I said before the Ind-Eng match, India will win this trophy. If this is a team that's rebuilding, then heaven help the rest when they have rebuilt. They will be a second Australia, unplayable.

I'm interested to see that Sri Lanka was knocked off for about 1/2 dozen runs more than the Proteas, also at the semi-final stage, but there's no cries of "Chokers!" In fact the game was almost a duplicate of the SA-Eng match. Where are all the couch-critics now? And if India smack England down for less than 200 runs, will anyone cry "Chokers!" then?

I just hate that stupid spiteful tag. Has anyone ever heard of a self-fulfilling prophecy?

It is brave picking India before the final as this is the first Ind-Eng match of the tournament.
