Will be trying to recoup after bad day on Tuesday; some thoughts:

R2: Wild Thing much too short imo - could drift as Sacred Ground comes into the betting

R3: Smooth Criminal and Dark Reign have at least shown that they stay and are my PA choices - Golden Ring has had many chances and imo seems bettter around 1800

R4: Pinnacle Plate where Dance Alley is best in, but there has to be a question mark about the trip - still Fradd rides so can't be ignored; safer choice looks to be Salutation who is 2nd best in at the weights and has placed 4 from 4 over this trip; Mirage Drive is also sure to stay and not badly in with the Marwing coupling, Winter Desire, Gentleman Jack not without hope either; for a roughie I like Money Flows, likes this trip and is weighted to finish in front of Winter Desire on their runs behind Daylami Star - not easy

R5: Open looking sprint handicap; lots with chances as the betting suggest - 8 runners at 8/1 or shorter and all 8 have some sort of chance imo

R6: Money Grubber had some excuses last time and is shortening in the betting again, so could finish in front of Serissa today; the roughie that jumps out at me here is Zanzibar Man - two encouraging runs after a rest, but MR still coming down, gets the 2.5 kg's courtesy of Aucharuz, so looks each way value to me at 12/1

R7: Daylami Star very good last win from a wide draw last time, was only given 2 points for that and should be right there again from a good draw; Eternity goes for a hat-trick, but may prefer further; Sammy Silver disappointed last week, but not much between him and Jet City on their runs behind Enchanted Guest, so both can feature; roughie here is Great White who is looking 'great' and is looking for this trip imo

R8: Top 3 here imo are the 3 favourites; Tiger Play ran to a 79 last time imo, so could still be well in here, but Saratoga Magic is in top form and will be hard to peg back, also Verrochio has run against stronger and put up a good come-back run after a rest; to complete the quartet I like Marching Band and Blue Spirit, who both look well suited to this trip

R9: Stormy Cape overdue to win after 3 seconds, so seems a worthy favorite and holds Dragon Fay (who may improve with blinkers), for me I think the lightly raced Zapateo (if ready after a rest) could give SC plentty to think about; the rest seem to have their work cut out, best of these imo could be In Tune Too and Jay Radical.

Enjoy (tu)

Flash

Do u have a problem with Louis?

If so i suggest going to see him and his operation and then walk around the rest of the vaal and see the difference.

And back to the Vaal where he ran a 1st & 2nd in his first 2 races. 3rd run after a rest and should be cherry ripe. Frodo I also like this horse, my only concern is the distance. Wat dink u?

In R4, Pocket Filler, light mass, consistent form and I think the he will enjoy the extra. Place chance.

OR - ek glo nie die afstand is 'n probleem vir ZM nie - Jamaica was briljant oor 1600 en ZM het nie gestop oor 1400 nie.

Pocket Filler should enjoy the trip, but rather badly in at the weights imo :S

Race 6 RADIANT ROCK @ 25/1... Well he checks all the right boxes...

Age - Problem 7yo now and they usually don't get better
Distance - All day long
Draw - Pole Position
Pilot - Fradd
MR - 78
Weight - Well weighted

Worth a small each way IMO.
