my luck is so rotten that in race 1 I bankered the favourite with the field except 6 and 7 ..... well of course the 6 runs second ..Phew, I am having a bad run.

Check MIRAGE DRIVE, last win with steels ??? Ran with steels last time out (11/13) and Alumites in the previous 5 races. Really weird.
