The draw has played into the hands of backers of the Kannemeyer3yo.This one is all class and I expect him to win.

They seem to have gone with the Gauteng form at the expense of a horse such as KOP. Dissapointed River Crossing could not get in. IMO Wild One, Gothic and Punta Arenas should have had no business in this race, does not mean that either of them can't go on and win it though. Gonna be plenty with big chances, Pomodoro could go back to back, Run for It I fancy but 9/2 is crazy, CTN and Wiley Hall should prove best of the 3 year olds. Gothic looks a bad inclusion but he may just have improved enough to win it. Pomodoro, CTN, Shogunnar my 1,2.3.

I asked the question a while ago on another thread ! The log that they use makes no sense at all ! Tellina and Rock Cocktail can't get in ! How come? So the Woodruf yard get the filly in because why? And Tellina who was unlucky to lose the race to Love Struck in my opinion misses out while Love Struck is going to race 7 days before the July and then again in the July. Anyway we can debate this forever but for me it makes no sense at all? All I can say is that Run For it will come home lonely ! Last year dra 20 won ! This year draw 1 wins . That's how I study form ! Believe me it takes a long time to master this theory!

what makes it even more crazy is that the panel went for the Gauteng form and horses but Love Struck and Wild One then manage to beat Tellina for a place in the final field. Must be Wild One's run in the DN that gave him the nod, was apparently flying at the finish. It this is the case then Tellina was definitely flying at Lovestruck in the classic and made up good ground in the Derby when running on from last. This is all speculation but would be interesting to hear what Woodruff thinks of this, what do you guys reckon?

Will be rooting for Wylie Hall.
I know of a few punters that have the following doubles standing with WH .. (win/place)

12 May 2013
Father Ted
Beewithmee
Northern Emperor
King Jace

15 May
One Cool Dude

25 May
Via Africa

26 May
Captain Magpie

01 June
Icefire

5 June
Regal Eagle

Most of the bets in May WH was 50/1 and 10/1 a place

Small stakes of R20/ R30 and R50

No more

Unfortunately all my Dreambythemaster bets are now out of the HW pending statement

A colleague of mine said he dreamt of a jockey celebrating his win in the July. He kept seeing the number 11 being "floated" around.
Don't say I didn't tell you ... ::o

Nix. Aus horses do it all the time. Melbourne Cup runners run on the Sat before the Tues. Fine...
