In my opinion none of the other TT presenters has anyrhing on Gareth Pepper. He has matured and has a good rapport with whoever he interviews post race.

I agree with you BH that GP is a very decent presenter and believe I have made representation to that fact in previous threads. I would add that he seems to genuinely make the necessary effort to study the races and get the information that will help punters. As I said earlier though, I find it more than a little frustrating that most of the information he has made the effort to unearth is only delivered two minutes before the start of the relevant race by which time 99% of punters have already, at best, decided on who they will back, or at worst already had their bet. He is not the only one to do it and I guess in some ways he is more frustrating simply because you feel he has done the work to get the information and you want to hear it. I also accept that he has a job to do and has to fill in the time before each race and that is the natural way to do it. I do think though that a summary delivered at the start of the meeting which covers the entire meeting would be extremely helpful, especially to those who play the "exotic" bets. It is just common sense to me, if they want to help punters etc that would be an excellent start. That said, I was probably a little blunt in my previous post, I do think he does a good job and long may he continue (tu)
