Someone educate me please... genuine question, not money talk and I generally like the jock anyways...
Once Sub Shaawes had gone all the way to the left rail, Fanie changed his whip-hand to his left hand. It looked to me like an open invitation to a horse that is veering to do exactly the same in the opposite direction, which he duly did. Surely it would have been sensible to keep the stick in the right hand and just keep the horse going straight along that rail. I don't see why he would have done it. Was it a schoolboy error or am I missing something?

I don't normally agree with suleman because I think he is nuts (
) but I like River Trip today. He is by Trippi who loves the sand and a Seeking the Gold mare.
If ever there was a horse who could take to the sand, i believe it is this one!

-D I never agree with Suleman lol but I think he is far from nuts and I take note of what he says, I think he does ok and it may be a strange "system" he uses but he gets a fair amount on the button (tu)

Hard to know for sure, but maybe he was afraid the horse might try and jump the rail ?

I fancied him a few times on the turf - maybe the sand is what he needs, but for me I prefer the tried and trusted, so Mr Alf for me (tu)
