I'm now pissed off ! When people ask give an answer don't hind behind a load of crap. This isn't moaning or crying or whatever! Everyone has the right to ask an honest question and in this game we should at least expect an honest answer ! Mrs Laing is training for the biggest owner in the game who's manager replys that they are happy for her to answer ny questions so WTF?. I'm with Pirates and others on this one - it makes me effing tired to listen to all the crap .

I'm all about transparency and I agree with the sentiments but in this instance is the following possible.....
Tara is sick in hospital with Pneumonia. She has only been around for a day or two to work the horses. She has no idea how the horses have worked and probably doesn't want to put her employees on the spot so declines to respond about how she thinks her string will run.......
Is this a possibility or are we just going to crucify her as yet ANOTHER trainer who refuses to give information about her runners.
Perhaps a little perspective is needed before we charge and demand heads to roll.
Just my opinion of course.

We cannot demand nothing
what is the fuss about
The form is in the books
Anything more you get from the race to use next time
Besides it takes a brave msn to punt tips taken from trainers websites etc
Use the info to tie up your side of things not as the be all
I cannot believe how spoilt and lazy some are

"i cant separate the two"
"hes working well"
"its a competitive field"
"we are confident of a good run"
blah blah blah
never is the comment this will win. the comment is duty they must say so they no get the whinging from all people like you. let me tell you some thing trainers often they no now who will win. is why favourites get beet by the companion all the time, is why 33/1 shot win. i learn from early time horse is no the machine you flick the switch and there he go. for any one to demand the info or criticise when it no come is wrong i dont care what the story is. if it is give say thank you and make your own decision. is same cry babies who come after the info and say you stuck us away. is the game trainer can never win

FLASH HARRY!!!! I'm shouting lol to get your attention because you are making me a little frustrated!
You are probably in the vicinity of being 100% correct but it is not the whole point and, with all due to respect, to me you are missing the point a little. Speaking only personally, I don't believe I have ever said I want a trainer to tell me a horse will win. It would of course be nice if they could (and it did!!! lol) but I, like you, often take such words with a pinch of salt. BUT, if there is one thing (among many lol) that annoys me, it is hearing a trainer say, after a win, that last time out the horse was not 100% and needed the run.... or something similar. Ok, you may say it is bollox but, let us just assume, it is the truth. It is THAT information that I want before that race when it would be of some help to me, not after the run two races later. There is a huge difference between a trainer "tipping" his horse and a trainer updating the public on the well-being of a horse. I am more than happy with one-liners like "should be competitive" etc, it says to me the trainer thinks the horse is well and I move on. It is the "ate 2 tons of grass yesterday and will therefore probably need to run it off before being competitive" lines that are of use, the ones that tell you why a horse has not run well last time out or recently etc but that the problem is now solved or not. I can then make my judgement based on all available information not have to hear about it weeks later. Surely, you can see the difference between tipping and informing?

yes fh it mite be dangerous listening to them but firstly give the punters the CHOICE of listening or not and secondly like englander says its the WELLBEING of the horse and any other info that we the punter arent aware abt that helps us make a decision ..how often we hear things like we scoped her and we found she was full of mucus or she has a daisycutter action and didnt like the soft goingetc etc etc
