Value is looking beyond ones that will be fancied by all and sundry
Ones that have similar ability to the obvious
Most conditions to suit
Please spare me a thought Pirates

For me "value" is when the actual price is greater than what I perceive the price should be. Most of the times I am wrong though...

Thank you Pirates
You were rather condescending in your approach but I live with that all the time

As I said Mac you cannot expect to justify the importance of value in a few words
neither its meaning

Now the publication that best ascribes to the principle of value (read jointly) imo is the Sporting Post

Now this message is vital to a few
Sometimes value is knowing when to quit
Sometimes value is knowing when to quit

Value is anything over 2/1, whether its e/w or just place as long as its over 2/1. I am sorry I can't afford to put R5000 down on a even money shot that runs 2nd. So without getting clever about Value remember its one game for the rich and another for the poor.
