has racing not evolved beyond having tipster giving therec1,2,3 on tv, i dont know a single punter that waits in anticipation for there selections in order to have a bet... its just so 1960,s and outdated...

Showing your age GB Funny thing is, as its evolved I think more people now listen to the majority of them to know which horse to avoid! lol In fairness, the ones who make the effort to be informed pre-meeting, not pre-each race, are useful and well done to them. I think Mr Pepper and Vicky, as examples, have the "potential" to be very good if allowed to be. Just wish they could/would give out all the important info at the start of the meeting. As Hibs says, as presenters few issues, as Mr H says the "live" buddy buddy stuff is cr@p viewing/audio. There has to be a happy middle ground somewhere...

Julies biggest problem imo is that she has the best info at her fingertips but tries to talk form where shejust pretty much reads the computaform word for word. 9 times out of 10 her best tips are when she has spoken to jock/trainer. thats when you need to listen.

value for me is finding a horse that has more value than betting suggests. if i fancy a 10-1 shot, more than likely ill get 15-10 a top 3/4. that to me is value especially if the top of the board are under 5-2 a win.
