Good balanced team. I just can't see how Louis Schreuder was preferred over Charl Macloud and Sarel Pretorius.

i am very happy that the Province hooker Scarra Ntuben made the squad as he is here there and everywhere when Province play. It will be a great experience for him just to be on the tour.

I would have rested Jannie du Plessis, he is only a shadow of his previous ability. Guthro Steenkamp makes no sense to me, he won't be at the next world cup. There are five better scrumhalves then Schreuder. I don't think Zane Kirchner, Scarra Ntubeni and Flip vd Merwe are Springbok material but thats just my opinion. Rest of the team a good unit.

were you not one of the detractors of Pienaar when he did not play well in Auckland? He is in the squad

Would have picked McCloud or Pretorious ahead of him.

thats pushing it a bit too far. Very good club coach, fair provincial coach, below average super 15 coach, clueless international coach. Even you and I could coach SA to beat the likes of Argentina, Scotland, Somoa and Australia but lets see how he goes against the French and the Welsh in the next few weeks.

I agree mostly with dynasty - a few 'funnies' (Ntabeni overshadowed imo in the Cup final - and at least partly to blame for Province's debacle in the line-outs; Schreuder - huh ::o; Steenkamp - huh ::o)

Glad for Aplon - imo should replace Kirchner - and already feel sorry for Lambie, as it looks like he will be 'Mr Substitute' again

But a good team overall imo (tu)
