I cannot understand....wasn't this race the opposite of the previous, regarding draws and style of running....?

Thanks, I liked the last one but had a substantial double on Dolomiti and HCB. I feel a little hard done by.....

No it isn't just you. He has been struggling with the placing of the horses but then again we have come to hold him to quite a high standard of late....perhaps he has just returned to his prior form?

Whomever decided to run Kings Bay in this race should have their heads read......taking on hard knockers, traveling, 3 year old in open company.
Perhaps it was the new owners?

Time to Close The Gap for competition purposes:D

Not the only one who did that bet Tommy (td) And he was on the fav in the first which he, it seemed to me, was very quick to jump off etc. Also had those three in a treble (td)

Only saw the race "live" but was not convinced at the time Khumalo was to blame on Dolomiti, is it not possible he was simply somewhat unlucky? Is the horse usually slow(ish) away and comes from the back? Looked a little outpaced to me so may have had no choice but to come through the wall? He definitely tried to come earlier but got blocked off and lost all momentum. That said, with so much horse beneath him piloting a safer, more sensible route would probably have been the wiser course of action (naturally, in hindsight)
