Doing it six times and taking the top six in each leg sounds like the same thing to me, but I see your point.

Follow the Lotto way.
Guarantee a big pool of 10 bar or whatever on a given day.

Pool must be won, hence if you cant have a winner, then divide amongst those that had 5 legs in, and so on ?

Why should we follow the Meydan carnival day route which only takes place once a year? They offer P6 only on that day hence there is a consolation amount for those who managed to pick out 5 winners.

Haven't posted for a while - only used to play the P6 but turned that up with the rule changes so have saved a packet since then. I really think the rule changes were a silly move - big winners take money out the game - lots of small winners reinvest their winnings so the money goes through the system more often and racing benefits. I just wonder who is catching the P6 - I don't read on this forum of many successes?

Another feast of Pick 6 carryovers
Posted on 2 Jan 2014
*At Friday’s Fairview meeting R287,670 will be added to the pool, which should give a total of about R800,000.
*R300,000 has been added to Friday night’s Greyville pool and the estimated total is R1.3-million.
*At Turffontein on Saturday the pool will be boosted by R500,000 and that should bring an estimated total of R2.1-million.
*The meeting at Clairwood on Sunday will be the beneficiary of an additional R450,000, which is estimated to boost the Pick 6 pool to R2-million.
*Flamingo Park will host its first meeting of the year and the Pick 6 pool at the Kimberley course will receive an injection of R250,000, producing a pool of around R750,000.
There is further good news for people who play the Pick 6 as the pool at next Saturday’s L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate meeting at Kenilworth will kick off with R2-million already in the kitty and the estimated pot is a mighty R4.5-million.

So I wonder how much is in this kitty and where is the interest that has accrued?

Does anyone has Mr. V. Moodleys email address?
