Titch not trying to be funny with you it was just my opinion. Having 3 or more runners in a race just makes it harder for the punter. What info is given to the owners in the yard? Must they punter their own horses or do the stable inform them of the best based on work at home?

Gummit I would expect only to be told the well being of my own horses and then my form reading and jockey bookings help me..

I don't think the issue is aimed at the Snaith yard as such-it has had, over the last few months,in PE particularly a string of specifically very well handicapped horses running well below their rating.
The issue is that , if the regulators asked for explanation the public would be less inclined to come to their own conclusions and that is to the benefit if Trust.
The rules are only as good as the people who enforce them!

hibs what do you do if your horse has the best form in the race but horse is not well maybe coughing. Do you ask your trainer to scratch the horse?

If a trainer is even considering running your horse when it is coughing then time to find a new trainer, and for the trainer to find a new job

Many times I have seen on stripes report horses reported as coughing why the stripes don't take action against the trainers?

Gummit -coughing after a race does not mean it was sick going into a race ,but could be bleeding internally or have respiratory problem which is aggravated under stress

Thanks Sham, lots of times I have been told not to have a bet on a horse because horse was coughing. Why did the trainer still run the horse in the race then?
