WE please let us talk as owners. forget technology it do not affect your horse, the stakes versus the training fee is the embaressment. perhaps you dont need the money most owners do. it explain why the owner number is down 60% in last 15 year.

This opens a new can of worms :
Who is controlling entrance to the parade ring? The RA? And if so, what gives them the right? I was under the impression that the operators own the 'track' - so is the parade ring a RA 'embassy' ? And why do 'we' then need the NHA badges? In an ironic way, this would then be motivation to join the RA - 'if you're not a member, you can't come onto our 'property' (the parade ring) :S:S
I'm confused - nothing new there I suppose :S

Press the rules regarding badges, dress code has been in Computerform as well on Tellytrack for at least 6 weeks .
Also got a notice on the parade ring gate of rules and dress code.
All trainers were notified to let there owners know as well
So why pick on the RA .??
Frodo if you read he was not let in because of dress code.

I have seen these notices and I can read - I am expanding on the post asking whether the RA has any jurisdiction in the parade ring - surely if the parade rings 'belongs' to another 'body' (e.g the operator) the RA can not enforce any rules relating to the parade ring - the point is not the dress code, (a similar question could be asked in terms access of under 12's to the parade ring) but who put these rules in place and who should be 'enforcing' them

Frodo, the rules are old and been allowed to fall away, principally dress code and kids, but are now being enforced by operators and NHA not the RA

Ok I have no problem with that - but Press was saying that 'RA security' was preventing him from entering :S
