GB... he lifted world cricket to another level, superstar of the game in terms of natural and innovative skill. When his country of birth lacked the whatever to do so, the world was fortunate that England stepped in and gave him the opportunity to put his skills on show for all to appreciate.

In fairness to the guy, the few times I have been in his company I have always found him to be friendly and very polite. That of course does not mean he is not a very difficult character in different environments. The fact is "relationship" issues have followed him every step of the way.

I played a bit of indoor cricket with him and wasn't a bad chap at all, maybe the money and fame gradually went to the head, still a very good batsmen who could murder an attack.

Should have stayed in Natal as their 1st choice spinner

Hope he plays in the IPL .. Talented guy-- everyone has issues..
