Like it or not if you are an owner in that stable your horse runs and earns - The argument will always be that his horses don't train on but if you are a first time owner then that stable is best as he is not shy to get them running early and often - And they don't cost the earth to buy .... would I send him a horse? I don't really know but if a new owner asked I'd tell them to go for it as you'll see it run unless it has three legs

What many battling trainers don't get is that the longer you take to get your average "sprinting" baby running the worse the odds on earning are - Next thing you know the big stables start sending out rockets to win the Nursery and qualify for KZN and you keep that horse back until it's three. Now it's got to run against it's own age and elders and you've missed your chance to earn something

I would also like to end my horse's career early if it is bred to sprint and shows nothing - Slow at Two slow at Three.

Corne not my favorite trainer, but I have to admit that he has spotted a gap - these days there are less and less juveniles racing, so the opportunity is there to recoup outlay very early - and if the horses are average, they will not get a better opportunity to win than early on.
Another guy who is not my cup of tea, but who has to be commended is Leon Erasmus, I think I'm right in saying that the vast majority of the horses in his stable cost less than R100k and the majority of those are given every opportunity to (and does mostly) turn a profit for their owners

just remember you see the winners but nobody knows how many 2yos are smashed before they come to the racecourse because they been pushed way to early ...you want a trainer like this good luck to you if you havent got patience or you cannot afford to keep your younger horses until they are ready then go find another hobby...
