Do you agree with the jocks...

or do you think they need a kick up the erse?
did the UK jocks cancel the Royal Ascot meeting after Hanagan had the bad fall when his mount slipped on the bend?
Would AP Mccoy stay at home instead of riding in the sleet over fences?
Do George Baker and Joe Fanning complain when they are taking the frozen kick back in their faces on a January night?
Or the Autumn flat meetings in Germany when the mud is knee deep?

I was at the course with Muzi and S'manga they say that it was shocking not only dangerous but would have made for very unfair racing and punters would have done their money in cold blood, horses were jumping patches and bumping each other for virtually the entire race , even the winner was jumping patches the whole way down the straight and there is another bad patch just after the winning post a sure fire recipe for disaster...an unusual occurrence tonight was that every single jock without exception was opposed to racing continuing.
Give everything but up!

Unfortunately, "the stipendery board could not find any visual evidence to support the jockeys concerns" - and if is to be true, then the jocks have lost respect from most of us - senior, esteemed or whatever - they can get in the queue and kiss my rear.

Wow... Smanga leading the championship, he would definitely think twice about missing a meeting and Muzi would ride a rat running down a drainpipe ( no disrespect Muz.) So there must have been serious track issues. A jock was saying the drainage system laid down under the turf ( as an after thought) has caused visible striations across the track, now horses don't have the greatest depth perception and at speed would most definitely cause it to try and jump the patches. Let's not pretend Greyville hasn't been a shambles for a long time now. If the stipes are so sure nothing wrong put them on the horses and let them test it the hard way. No worse feeling than hearing "boy down" and praying its not your loved one.

Titch,if it was so bad why did no-one complain before the meeting. There were horses that galloped before the meeting, around 3pm, surely something would have been said by who-ever rode them. Internationally we are trying to sell our racing, after this?

Guys can tell u no one wanted to race more than m j and he said all twelve jocks who rode on the first were not happy. I know muzi well and trust me if he thought they could race he would. You can't compare our tracks to uk the base is different and not even about jocks falling horses hurt themselves and that's not right gold circle should of managed this better bottom line
