I wonder if the Jockeys will stage a protest if Bookies no longer take Racing Bets? I wonder why he did not take a TOTE bet?Could it be that he wanted a FIXED return on his wager not a possible AUSSIE payout? Think about that VEE et al when you pat yourselves on the back as you try to close the one institution that has been around since the first Caveman bet another on the outcome of a Zebra race!!

so u reckon that giving horses a miss in races falls into the "as usual" bracket..

Get rid of the coat tails and advertise the buzz , racing can be a great social occasion but it needs us( punters ) more than a few extra pimm drinkers

Good interview , thanks Steven for helping to make it interesting.
Laff and I have done in excess of 150 interviews. Those that spring to mind of the old day racing Buller Benton, Jack Ramsay and Colin Buckham, all tinged with how things were!!! But there will always be people that don't enjoy what we do, we cant help that. Thanks for all the support from the great majority who love Winning Ways, all the effort makes it worth while.

you would be surprised how many times the "people in the know" end up with worthless tickets, the absolute fact is far more often than not

Some don't realise that you don't get paid for everything you do....

Enjoy the show generally ,however have to mention an annoying section,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"plum of the week" ...........nothing worse than listening to peoples view of a "good thing" after the race!
This week for instance ...............a filly over 2600m in a MR handicap at 16/10...........only for the ARM's.
Try choosing them in advance and then review!
