Its Liverpools to loose..I think bar our last game all 3 are gonna be tough.
It was never expected for LFC to challenge for the prem title, this year atleast.
Agree with Englander that this side is far from the great LFC sides of the past but we have been the better footballing side all season.
Rodgers and the boys are having a blinder and hope we pull it off.

lol AE, that's a bit of a loaded gun question, I shall take extra care with my wordings with you around in future ;)

Not sure there is a definition as such, more a perception

let's keep it very simple... imo... the Barcelona team that whooped United 3-1 in the CLF were a great team, the Bayern team of last year were a very very good team (and possibly still are though I am less convinced), the United team that won the treble were a very very good team, the L'*** team of the 70s and 80s were a very very good team. Imo and of course all things are different in different times etc but any of those teams would be double-figure points clear in the Premiership as it is today.

lol, well played. I agree this is not a great Liverpool team. But to win the PL you dont have to be a great team, you just have to be the most effective team. Liverpool have done that of late and with a bit of style.
Hopefully this seasons performance will see more money coming out of Boston to further strengthen the team, becos quality in depth is going to be needed next season.

Well I know dave probably thinks that Torres would have blitzed the defender for pace as well and then put the ball in the top row of the stands rather than the back of the net >:D<

I didn't watch it Dave, was switching between the two Prem games, which was all part of my sub-point on this thread. I then switched after the Prem games had finished but only with an occasional look-up from form studying

100%
He would have gone down, clutching he's face and rolling down the touch line to the corner flag..

Another question. Can anyone justify why he wasn't sent off against Man.City?
I missed the 2nd half live, but watched the replay this morning, refs are instructed to yellow card blatant diving,he did it twice.

Saurez on many occasions doesn't go down evenwhen hehas been tripped or fouled.
Imo many of u guys haven't played football or any sport. Run at full speed n get even ur wife to put her leg out I promise u u will fall and possibly get hurt. Yes the theattrics r always uncalled for, BUT to call it diving? Not true. A dive is if no contact. Is made

Suarez would not have had to "race wide" as Bale did. Thats because he would have nutmegged the defender and collected the ball infield. As the banner on the Kop read " Suarez can even nutmeg a mermaid"X(

Ah, AE, good to see you can make a schoolboy error too... based on your response then, just out of curiosity, what defines a great team? :P

I have not seen enough, or perhaps, better put, remember enough over the season AE but my perception has been that City on their day are, by some considerable distance, the best team in the Premiership and I think they showed that to be true in the 2nd half at L'pool. Why their form has dipped so badly in some games and in some periods is a huge question mark over their manager and/or the commitment of their players imo. That said, as you say, that is no concern of anyone else and if you can take advantage of it, well done to whoever does.

Its not diving if contact is made boet.
Diving is if no contact is made. I tell u every tym he went down dr was contact made. If one understands da rules, sumtimes contact can be made and no foul awarded,eg, if ball is played 1st then player. But just coz its not a foul, doesn't mean u can fall if uv been kicked/tripped. Honestly the knowledge of some ppls footballs is apauling, as I said theatrics is terrible,BUT u cnt book some1 for feeling pain, hw dy react for the pain they felt, if any is not up2 daref 2 decide. U cannot card a player for falling over even if his shirt is tugged.
